Fellowship Fellowship meets the social needs of the congregation. Party Time! We plan and implement programs and activities, which provide “pastoral care” to the congregation. And have fun doing it ! We organize social and recreational activities, such as picnics and Church dinners. We plan and coordinate outside activities such as trips to see the Hurrah Players, Tides baseball or Lady Monarch basketball games. We provide refreshments for the congregation following Sunday Service. We assist the other committees with special suppers such as Maundy Thursday for the Worship committee. We work with the pastor to provide personal care for members through various means such as prayer chain, shepherding programs and visitation. We have a seniors group called the Golden Treasures that meet for fellowship and planned activities. They have their own Bible study on Sunday mornings that follows a lectionary-based curriculum. We oversee the mens group which meets for breakfast and study the 2nd and 4th Sunday at 8 AM and the Women of the Church who meet the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7 PM for Bible study and dessert.
